The 2013 Knauss Fellowship year has come to a close, but since many of us are still in the D.C. area, we decided that it would be a good idea to keep the blog going as a way to stay in touch and keep up with our adventures as part of the Knauss Mafia (the extensive network of Knauss Alumni that still reside in D.C.).
Knauss Fellows come from a variety of marine biology, chemistry, geology, oceanography, environmental, law, and policy backgrounds. In DC, each is placed as a legislative or executive fellow to work in Marine Policy with state representatives or government agencies, including NOAA, NSF, USFWS, USACE, the State Department, the Navy, the Coast Guard, the Department of Education, and the EPA.
These are our stories*.
